I found it stressful to see how many typos there were in the existing product descriptions on the website, so I ended up changing them completely for my amazon listings. I also found it strange to see how the product descriptions were the same for completely different items - for example an orange playsuit having the same description word-for-word as a floral black dress. This laziness and 'copy and paste' style I found unacceptable for a clothing retailer - many examples can be found of this on the website.
The amazon listings was a job that ended up taking most of the first 2 weeks of the internship - as we had to list every product on the AX website again to Amazon. I did this along with the help of another intern and another member of staff whenever we all had a free moment to sit and do them.
It also struck me as odd how I was writing product listings for christmas themed jumpers in the middle of an April heatwave.
During my first week, I also did a mini 'street-style' photoshoot using some of the products of the website to be featured on the instagram page.
I enjoyed doing this but as a bottom-heavy girl I hated the light blue leggings!
