AX Paris Internship #8

I assisted on a photo shoot for the website, which was interesting and provided a good day of experience of a fashion shoot away from the office, which is something I have never done before.

I assisted on a photo shoot for the website, which was interesting and provided a good day of experience of a fashion shoot away from the office, which is something I have never done before.

The shoots normally consist of two parts - product shoots which will be used on the website that show full detail of the dresses and pieces shot. and Creatives - which will often be used on the blog, instagram posts, website (for banners or promotional artwork).

It was enjoyable to have the experience of helping out on a shoot like this, and I was often given responsibilities helping the photographer or steaming items of clothing.
I personally preferred the Creative outfits shot against the background of Manchester City Centre, as I thought the contrast between the girly dresses and grimy, funky backgrounds worked well.

I was asked to interview the model Naima and find out more about her in the style of a Q&A blogpost, to put a personality behind the face of the website.
I asked lots of questions and got to know the model well including how she got into modelling, who she has modelled for in the past and who would be her dream shoot.
Once back at the office, I typed this up into a fun blogpost, similar in style to the type of thing that Motel use on their website as this had been shown to me beforehand as something they were aiming for.
